How Does it Work and What Does it Cost?
Counseling Services
I work with individuals and couples age 20 and up. Counseling is completely confidential; however there are exceptions mandated by law that concern your safety and safety of others. For more information on confidentiality, contact Diana at diana@savvylifeskills.com.
The first counseling appointment usually is 90 minutes. Subsequent sessions are approximately 50 minutes. I accept many health insurance plans where you are responsible for the copay only. I also am an Employee Assistance Provider (EAP). Many employers offer this service where you have a limited number of free sessions. Contact your health insurance company or employer to determine your benefits.
Some people prefer not to use their health insurance for mental health services to avoid dealing with deductibles and to avoid having a diagnosis in their permanent health insurance record. In addition, many managed care companies restrict the number of sessions available.
If you decide to access counseling outside your insurance plan, the cost of the first 90-minute appointment is $140.00. Subsequent sessions are $100.00 per session. I do not accept credit cards. Payment is due at each session.
My office is located near the interchange of Highways I-5 and 217. It is convenient for Tigard, Tualatin, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, Wilsonville, and SW Portland.

Coaching Services
My coaching services take place either at my office, or by telephone. Experience has shown a commitment of three to six months is the most effective way to start reaching your goals. The coaching sessions are 45 to 50 minutes, on a weekly basis. Other scheduling arrangements can be made to meet your needs. The investment in your successful future is $100 per session. As a part of your coaching agreement, you have free email access to your coach for quick on the spot coaching. You also have one free 10 minute phone call between sessions for urgent issues and celebrations of successes.
Payment is due the first of the month in advance, payable by check, cash or money order. Pay for 3 months in advance and receive a 10% discount on the standard fee. Pay for 6 months in advance and receive a 20% discount on the standard fee. Rates may change. If you are a continuing client, you will be advised in advance of any rate changes.
